Presentation - English

WM,

I would like to present to you the "International Traveling Gavel" and humbly request that you rule and direct Your Lodge with it for todays meeting.

This idea for the international traveling gavel was conceived in July 2006 and originated in North Bay, Ontario, Canada as a means to help strengthen the bonds of brotherly love and fraternal visitation on a global scale. I hope this small gesture of friendship will help each of us realize that no matter where in the world we travel, that the hand of another Mason is a sure sign of Brotherhood.

During this evenings meeting you are becoming part of a project that brings us together as a fraternity and though the world is large and the borders of man are vast, the bonds of our most noble fraternity will endure and support us no matter where we are in the world.

I also kindly ask that the WM after the meeting fill in the accompanying log book, pass this gavel on to another regular Lodge and follow a few simple steps to ensure the location of the gavel can be tracked online via a website and e-mail newsletter and be further enjoyed by Brethren everywhere for years to come.
